Orbit separates operational assistance from more sensitive change execution. Open-lane
agents improve visibility and coordination, while guarded-lane agents support proposal,
review, and structured execution where risk is higher.
Open lane
Agents in the open lane are designed to help the platform observe, organise, route, and
coordinate execution without turning every request into a high-impact system mutation.
Observation-first Health reporting, detection, and visibility improve operator awareness.
Routing and coordination Requests can be interpreted and directed toward the right platform surfaces.
Execution support Useful for discovery, navigation, operational execution, and verification.
Guarded lane
Guarded agents are intended for more consequential changes. They strengthen planning,
policy awareness, and safer execution practices across the control plane.
Change control High-impact updates are planned rather than applied as loose direct edits.
